Congratulations to all our kid triathletes!
- Race Day: Saturday, August 1, 2015
Thank you to all the athletes that raced in the 2015 Fronhofer Tool Triathlon. Whether you raced on Friday night or Saturday morning, you helped to make a difference in our effort to promote children’s literacy in our community.
Friday night brought lots of smiles to everyones faces watching the promising future that triathlon holds with many highly skilled and beginner racers speeding through the park. Saturday brought many more smiles and continued excitement as FTTer’s filled the park and course. We can’t thank our racers and sponsors enough for their support.
We hope that each of you left with a great experience and a good feeling knowing that you raced not only for yourself, but for the children in our communities who will be receiving a new book because of you.
The FTT Crew
We are very excited to share this years athlete letter with our FTT racers. If you know someone who would still like to race, there will be race day registration available. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Safe travels to all!
The Fronhofer Tool Kids Triathlon and Mini Triathlon registrations are both open! “Run” on over to Register This to sign up the whole family for a weekend of fun! Remember, all proceeds go to two local not-for-profit children’s literacy organizations.
Can’t wait to see all of our happy, active families out on the course!
Don’t forget that if you sign up for the Olympic race in the month of January you receive an extra pair of FTT socks for FREE!
2015 is here and so is open registration for the 9th Annual Fronhofer Tool Triathlon! This years event will take place on August 1st and will once again feature an Olympic distance triathlon race with the option of entering the partner category as well as the relay category. As always all proceeds from the event will go directly to B.O.O.K.S. and Books in Kids Hands, two not-for-profit children’s literacy organizations.
The FTT is known for giving back to our athletes! We truly feel that we have the greatest participants, athletes who continually support our race and our charities, therefore we have decided to show our appreciation by once again choosing to not raise our registration costs. In addition, we know one of the major highlights for the FTT is our giveaways, so this year we are rewarding our athletes who sign up for the FTT in the month of January with an additional pair of socks. So be sure to sign-up early!
Along with the new giveaway and low registration cost, we have also chosen to support our local and loyal timing system company Score-This, who now offers race registration for events. This new addition will provide you the racer with an easy registration process, great customer service and also the opportunity to support a local New York business. Please help us spread the word that racers will no longer be able to register through Active and must register at Score-This.
We hope that 2015 brings you much success on and off the race course. Happy New Year and happy training from the entire FTT Crew!
