3rd Annual Fronhofer Tool Triathlon

The Fronhofer Tool Triathlon is a fun family event that takes place at one of Washington Counties hidden treasures “Lake Lauderdale Park”. The race features both an Olympic Distance and Kids Triathlon. In addition there is a beautiful beach for the family to enjoy and there will be fun activities planned for children.

The race is one of the most scenic races in the area. The race begins at the beach which is set back in a nicely wooded park and features a two loop swim, which is nice for our spectators. After the swim our bikers set out on a gorgeous bike course. It begins with one major hill and then continues to roll through the beautiful country side of Washington County. Riders will cross over historic Eagleville covered bridge and pass by abundant corn fields, all set within the view of Vermont’s Green Mountains. Finally, the racers finish on a mostly flat out and back run course featuring a small trail portion with a nicely shaded start and finish within the park.

All racers will receive a dri-fit t-shirt, water bottle, finishing prize, a complementary lunch, and a raffle ticket for our massive post race raffle. Extra lunch and raffle tickets will be available at the race. Additional lunch tickets will be sold for a cost of $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for children. Raffle tickets will be sold for a cost of 1 for $2, 3 for $5 and an arms length for $10.

All proceeds from the race will benefit B.O.O.K.S. and Books in Kids Hands, two local not-for-profit children’s literacy organizations. So please join us in our “Race for Reading”!
